SPORTSMANSHIP
It is the mission of College Hockey East to have the fans enjoy the game just as much as we enjoy having their support. Spectators play a critical role in establishing a positive image of our leagues, our schools, and our teams, in addition to creating a festive atmosphere at our events. Everyone plays a part in making the playoff weekend a success and contributing to a rewarding experience for all participants, spectators, and personnel.
Please cheer for your team and respect the exciting game of hockey by exercising good sportsmanship. Fans who interfere with the game or exhibit behaviors that are detrimental to the spirit and values of intercollegiate sports shall be removed from the premises.
TICKET INFORMATION
There is no admission fee charged for anyone entering the arena during the CHE event, including those wishing to view multiple games on Friday night and Saturday afternoon.
PARKING
Ample vehicle parking is available in the lot adjacent to the arena and is free to the public. Team buses/vans are encouraged to unload near the right-hand entrance to the arena (by the pub) and park along the perimeter of the lot on that side.
ADA parking is also available near the two entrances to the arena and is marked accordingly. ADA parking near the right-hand entrance to the building provides ADA access only to Murph's Pub and not to the main arena. Those wishing to use ADA parking and view the game from inside the playing area should park nearest to the left-hand side of the building.
SPECTATOR SEATING
All seating inside the playing area is General Admission. The home team fans will be directed to the bench-side seats by staying nearest to the side of the entrances, and the visiting team fans will be directed to the opposite-side seats by proceeding to the far side of the building.
Seating in Murph's Pub is controlled by the restaurant staff. Seating along the glass of the restaurant is limited and cannot be reserved or guaranteed. Most other seats in the restaurant and lounge offer a direct but obstructed view of the playing surface.
PHOTOGRAPHY
A professional photographer will be present for all four CHE championship games. Photos and photo packages from the event can be purchased from the photographer following the event. Information on purchasing photos will be provided at the event. Only the official photographer is authorized by College Hockey East to sell photographs of the 2018 CHE Playoffs.
No photographers will be permitted on the bench areas or in the penalty boxes during the game, and only the official photographer will be permitted on the ice following any game, including the championship presentation.
POST-GAME CELEBRATIONS
Only team/game personnel, league officials, and the official photographer are permitted on the ice at any time throughout the post-season, including the on-ice celebration following the championship games. The winning team will be asked to clear the ice immediately if spectators or other unauthorized individuals enter the ice surface during this time, and any unauthorized person entering the ice surface will be removed from the premises immediately.
DIRECTIONS TO THE ROSTRAVER ICE GARDEN
Directions from points north (Pittsburgh area):
- Take Route 51 South towards Uniontown
- Bear to the right at the Rostraver Airport / Sunoco gas station as the highway divides
- Drive one-half mile and turn left onto Galltin Road, shortly before the Gospel Alliance Church
- Proceed to the stop sign and cross the northbound side of Route 51 to stay on Gallitin Road
- The entrance to The Rostraver Ice Garden will be immediately ahead on the left
Directions from points west (Washington, PA):
- Take Interstate 79 to Washington, PA
- Merge onto Interstate 70 East towards New Stanton
- Take Exit 46B to merge onto Route 51 North towards Pittsburgh
- Proceed 4.5 miles north on Route 51
- Turn right onto Gallitin Road
- The entrance to The Ice Garden will be immediately ahead on the left
Directions from points east (New Stanton, PA):
- Take Interstate 76 (PA Turnpike) to New Stanton
- Merge onto Interstate 70 West towards Washington, PA
- Take Exit 46B to merge onto Route 51 North towards Pittsburgh
- Proceed 4.3 miles north on Route 51
- Turn right onto Gallitin Road
- The entrance to The Rostraver Ice Garden will be immediately ahead on the left
Directions from points south (California, PA):
- Take Route 43 towards Pittsburgh
- Take Exit 36A to merge onto Interstate 70 East towards New Stanton
- Take Exit 46B to merge onto Route 51 North towards Pittsburgh
- Proceed 4.5 miles north on Route 51
- Turn right onto Gallitin Road
