The 2008 CHE vs. MET League Showdown was hosted by the MCHC (Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference) for the first time in the State of New York at the Albany County Hockey Facility. As tradition, the event was conducted using a point system for each game to determine an overall winning league.
College Hockey East defeated the Metropolitan Collegiate Hockey Conference (MET League) 27-17. This is the second showdown victory for CHE after winning the inaugural event in 2006.
Thank you to the MCHC teams for their warm hospitality. Also, a special thank you to Scott Solomon, Commissioner for the MCHC, for coordinating and hosting the event! It was a great weekend enjoyed by all the teams who participated.
