The South Division came out firing as they defeated the North 9-3 in the 7th Annual CHE All Star Game. The contest was close for two periods, with the score 5-3 going into the third period. The South scored four unanswered goals in the third period, thanks to two goals and two assists from Game MVP and California of PA-I forewordJamison Roth (Erie McDowell High School). Roth and Californiateammate BJ DePaoli (California High School) combined for four goals and four assists and were too much for the North squad.
Edinboro teammates Nick Tucci (Meadville HS) and Greg Lelak (Fairfield High School) lead the North with one goal apiece. Jason Ferrell (Maluern Prepatory High School) from IUP scored the opening goal for the North.
Earlier in the day, the South squad won the first ever CHE Skills Competition 18-16 over the North. The South was lead thanks to great performances by Matt Ward (Greensburg Central Catholic) from Saint Vincent and goalie Chris Watkinson (Canon McMillan High School).
